Transfer of grades from E-learning to Student's Information System
What is it and how does it work?
Transfer of grades from E-elarning to Student's Information System means when student finished a quiz or assignment in E-learning, grade will be written also to Student's Infromation System (the SIS).
It doesn't happen fully automatically - teacher have to create item in Grupik in the SIS and then will be joined with quiz or assignment in the E-learning.

Instructions
To get started, log in to your Student Information System (the SIS) account. Click on the Grupík section of the SIS.
Then choose your study group you want to work with.
Scroll down to Items tab and click on the Add item button in top left corner.
Fill in the required fields:
Item name - for easier orientation, use unique names for items within one subject.
Item type – set to „Text“ for text or scale evaluation or „Number“ for numeric evaluation.
Show in the list – must be checked to show the Item in overview.
In E-learning Quiz allow only point (percentage) evaluation – Item type must be set to Number. Assignments allow both text and scale evaluations.
Assignments evaluation must correspond with evaluation type you have selected in E-learning. For Assignments evaluated with points set the Item type to Number. If you use grades A-F (or another custom scale) for Assignment evaluation, the Item type needs to be Text.
The remaining fields are optional. Their use is up to your preferences.
Once all fields are filled in, click on Add button to save the new Item.
- Visibility to students - check if you want the students to see their grades.
- Send an email to students when the item is edited – if checked, the student will receive an email notification when the grade has been entered into the SIS. The student must have email notifications enabled in the SIS to receive this notification.
Now log in to your E-learnign account.
Open the course from which you want to transfer the grades. Both systems (the SIS and E-learning) must have the same course ID for successful grade transfer. Activate the Editing mode. Locate the Topic you want to edit. Click on „Add an activity or resource“, choose Quiz or Assignment. Scroll down and click on the SIS options. Open the drop-down list and pick the test to which the grades should be transfered. The name is the same as the one you entered in the Item Name field in the SIS when you created a new Item (for better identification of the Item, you can see the Shedule Item code in brackets).
You can also use existing Quiz or Assignments. The SIS options are under Settings tab.
Keep in mind the grades for Quizzes and Assignments already completed by students will NOT be added to the SIS retroactively.
Don't forget to save the Quiz or Assignment.
After saving the grade in E-learning on Gradebook tab, a synchronization icon will appear indicating whether the grade was successfully transferred to the SIS.
When you hover over the icon, a label with the date and time of the last transfer attempt will appear.
If the transfer failed, it could be for example that the E-learning has a text rating but the item type in the SIS is a number or the E-learning has a number but in the SIS the item type is text.
Then, in your role as a teacher, you will see the grade in the SIS in the Grupik for your group of students. If you are already logged into the SIS, you need to update the page first (using the curved arrow icon or the F5 key).
In the overview you will then see the items in their respective columns based on the order you have set.
