Measuring Technique

This course provides an advanced overview of measurement systems, sensors, data acquisition, and industrial instrumentation. It covers the properties of measuring systems, signal conditioning, communication interfaces and protocols, and the measurement of important process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, level, moisture, composition, motion, and vibration. Theoretical principles are complemented by practical laboratory work with sensors, DAQ systems, Industrial IoT, PLCs, and robotic systems. The course emphasizes the complete measurement chain, measurement uncertainty, dynamic behaviour, system integration, and the selection of suitable measuring methods for laboratory and industrial applications.
