Venue: Historical building of CTU Prague at Karlovo náměstí, Church of Sts. Cyril and Methodius and its crypt in Resslova street, Emmaus Monastery Na SlovanechMeeting place and time: between 9:45 and 10:00 a.m. at Karlovo náměstí 13, Prague 2, at the entrance to the Czech Technical University How to get there: by metro B, exit Karlovo náměstí, E2, or by tram no. 2, 3, 6, 14, 18, 22, 23, 24 to Karlovo náměstí stop What to look forward to: We will start in the entrance hall of the historical building of the CTU Prague, where we will see the Foucault pendulum, then we will visit the nearby Church of Sts. Cyril and Methodius, especially its crypt, where the heroes of Operation Anthropoid were hidden during the Second World War. We walk to the Emmaus Monastery, founded in 1347 by the Bohemian King Charles IV.
